will the RE30 clear 368mm AP Racing front caliper, 6 pot.

well cant believe i found this thread (so excited ill have to post my HELLO thread afterwards!)

ive been looking for a track set of rims for my CSL since new year and decided on 18 or 19 inch VR G2 but couldnt find out if the AP front callipers will fit! - Looks like i am ok

Anyway i therefore will go with 18 x 9.5J et37 (front) face 2 and et15 (rear) face 3 but fit 265/35 x 18 Michelin Cups all round so i can use the Cups for max wear or later use 4 similar slicks

There is a load of new G2 data sheets from Rays showing all the range of G2 so ill post them here for anybody that hasnt seen them!

prob go gunmetal or formula silver!

http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/2009/pro...8&for=domestic

All these can be bought worldwide now along with the colours above on my post.

I have confirmed that all of those special colors can be ordered no problem. However, the "special color" pricing has not been set for the US market yet. Should have it within a couple weeks.

Thanks. That makes sense since the 20's have a different face front to rear.

So for the E92 M3, it looks like 9.5 x 18 ET 15 front and 10.5 x 18 ET 27?

Thanks again.

et37 upfront is not ideal by any means, you are gonna have to run a spacer.

yep,ive tried to work out what to do and my logic was as follows;

i currently run on track CSL rear rims all round which are et27 9.5J. On track with max camber they miss the strutt by about 6mm which means the ideal et would be about et30-32. With this it would be close to the strutt on max camber but also clear the arches on min camber on the road thus making the tyres last longer on normal driving

my thoughts are that i need minimum et30 so as you CANT make the offset smaller better to get slightly bigger and space a little. I will purchase 3mm and 5mm spacers to get the positioning exact

by all means if anybody can see any flaws shout before i buy the wrong et rims!

I would say et20 to et25 would be even better.

Go with the ET 37 and a 10mm spacer. Should be perfect for track!

not possible as et 27 will foul the arches when reverting back to -2 camber for road use after trackdays so has to be bigger offset than et27

might be ok for track but could be to tight on -2 camber still on the road

i am trying to find that perfect offset between et 27 and around et35 that will work on both -2 and -2 camber for road and track

wil get the et37 for the frotns and at least then i can try spacers to get the perfect fit
