Wheel Speed Sensor and Traction Control

Had a front wheel speed sensor play up and got the customary warnings about DSC, ABS etc..

But this got me wondering if the traction control was completely disabled becuase of it or is it just compromised?

ABS was turned off for sure but still seemed to have tons of grip.

Would guess that either front wheel could provide comparative speed info for reference to a slipping rear wheel.

Yes, it will disable traction control as it's not confident about the wheel speed readings.
