New to me...M3

Had no intentions on buying a car today, but oh well..

Drove past the dealership today and there was an e92 that caught my eye.

2008 M3. 32000 miles. Still under BMW warranty and service until 10/12. Bought an extended 3 year warranty, service for 2 yrs, and tire and wheel protection for 5 yrs. Road side assistance ect ect...

Clean carfax, no accidents reported. I may wrap it in matte white.

Not sure what package it has, this is my third E9X car, the first without navigation. Heated seats...thats pretty much it. 6 speed car. Carbon roof. Its a drivers car, and that it does.

Seems like the previous owner powder coated the wheels. It was priced very accordingly.

Thanks, it feels good to be back. Love the car so far. Drives great, spent the last two days just going over it with a fine tooth comb. It's been into Park Ave twice already for a taillight replacement and the 30k service check. Mechanic says it

Day 5 with the car. LOVE IT.

Never had a chance to drive my previous two e9x cars without run flat tires. The M3 with the PS2s drive GREAT. Much quieter over the roadways (the GF fell asleep on 95 while driving back from Jersey City) and the frame stiffness is very noticeable, which is great.

Averaged 23.5 MPG driving from New Milford to Jersey City and back. No complaints here.

Turned over 33K miles today, looking forward to many more.

Had it serviced also, oil, alignment, new rear tires. Car needs a few bits and pieces to bring it too 100%, (engine splash guard, pass side seatbelt arm) which are on order(warranty).

I'm about to search it, but from what I've been reading, the car doesn't respond very well to intake/exhaust mods as compared to other cars Iv had experience with. (domestic v8s)

Im scheduled for the ACM exhaust mod next week (for sound purposes only), and I plan on dropping in a K&N Filter. Any other Mods I should look into that are worth their weight in gold that wont make the car too loud?

CONGRATSSSS on the pickup, it definitely is smooth especially on 95, i live in closter/alpine area, but frequent Jersey City a lot since my girl lives there and some of my friends, maybe we'll pass each on the road some day.
