Bro, serious? I'm on the wait list for the next M3 and the next M5 after the F10 already. Hoping to get put on the wait list for the next gen M6 too.

Why the hell would you get put on a wait list for a car you haven't even seen yet?

One of the SA at BMW Langley told me that he has a few customers who have already put in their deposit on the new 3 series before the 3 series introduction and before any reviews...

I guess if you have lots of money, and you want to be the first one in the neighborhood to drive/own the new 3series, then put yourself on the waiting list...

I don't think any reputable dealer would take a deposit on a car that hasn't been released and no details have officially been released about.

This pretty much sums it up. Not to mention having to carry a deposit on the books for a few years

The new 3 series debuted in Toronto Star this Saturday. Pretty cool car, has a few innovations and many cool features (like bird's eye view, HUD, and the trunk release - by kicking your foot underneath the rear bumper). Its also lighter and bigger than the current 3 series.

No doubt the next M3 will be lighter than current one, and will feature a boosted engine. I like this one just fine.

Isn't "reputable dealer" an oxymoron?? ...Dealers are only reputable before the sale...once the sale is done, service goes out the window

If you have an established relationship with your CA, you don't need to be throwing money at dealer to be on their list to be one of the first to drive the latest and greatest off the lot. F30s will be here soon, so that makes alot more sense than F80s M3s...

Reserve a spot in line for what Still 2 years away and we do not have any details on this car.Maybe once that happens I might get a hankering for the new one or maybe the 991 GT3 when it comes.Whenever I decide I am pretty sure that I will be able to get what I want at that time without committing sight unseen on a car that I might not like as much as my present E92 M3.The more I drive my wifes 335is I really do not want a turbo in my play car.
