Guys,

Turning my car back to stock and parting out the M3 and am selling the big brake kit at this time.

This is the Red F/R ST-40 kit with StopTech ST-40 slotted 355mm front and ST-40 slotted 355mm rear. The kit is in awesome shape without any scratches or defects. I used it for only 6000 miles to/from work and 3 track days (w/ Pagid RS-29 pads). I'm including both sets of pads, the PAgid's have about 50% left and are included, along with the ST original pads which were used during street driving and have about 75% pad!.
Includes all original boxed equipment, SS lines, pads etc. along with extra pagid pads.

$2800 picked up or $2900 shipped!

If using paypal send gift or pay the paypal fees pls.

This is an easy DIY, the swap is literally two bolts and break line. You'll need to trim the rear dust shield using a rotorzip or something and a fluid bleed. I can offer help with the install however you like.

Thanks for looking!

just curious but is there a reason why you choose ST40F as oppose to ST60F?

Lots do it so can swap pads front to rear, what I did and saves some weight up front.

I had learned from others that ST40's in front performed just fine at the track with pagid pads - and I'd agree completely. It was also a huge bonus to be able to rotate pads back to front since the front does most of the braking.

One might argue if on full slicks you might need more brake up front but the brakes definitely paired well, and at times outperformed the NT01's I was running at VIR.

So aside from looks, for track purposes I'd have to say the 40's are sized very appropriately for this car.

Stock brakes should be able to out-perform NT01's for a certain amount of time. The beauty of big brakes is that there's more surface area and they can cool down quicker and not fade as soon.

I would bet money that most people could not tell the difference between the ST40 up front and the ST60 while driving.

The ST60 equipped car would accelerate slower due to the increased unsprung rotating weight.

I think the ST40/40 is a smart setup for all the reasons listed above. Wish I had extra $$$ to buy this kit.

OP: GLWS.
