door inserts

Gents,

I'd thought I'd post this on here due to your level of expertise on all things BMW. I lament selling my S65 but gotta put that behind me.

I've got a M235 that just entered production but wanted it different from the Grey/red M6 so I ordered it blk/oyster. Oddly BMW NA didn't make it oyster with black accents just ALL oyster. Looks like too much white to me IMHO. To that end I'm thinking of getting with the parts department and trying to get the black door inserts ordered. Is this possible? I think the inserts are a separate part. My SA thinks so. Anybody ever had to replace them? Any idea on cost and is this a dealer installed part?

Funny part is the MY 15'(july) goes to a blk/oyster mix. IDK why BMW did a solid white interior build for just a few months on NA builds, odd to me.

Sorry, can't help with your question but was at my dealer yesterday and they had an Estoril Blue M235 on the floor. This was my first time seeing one in the flesh and have to say I think it's good looking car. Enjoy it!
