E9X M3 Exhaust Comparison Video 3 (Now Feat. Meisterschaft GT2 and Gintani)
Here it is, E9X M3 Exhaust Comparison Video 3!
This has the the footage of the original four cars: 1) OEM (JC919) 2) Dinan (Tlud) 3) AA Signature (frankzlin79) 4) Eisennman Race (Ajax-Prime) And has footage of the following two cars: 5) Meisterschaft GT2 (navfaz) 6) Gintani Rear and Gintani Catless X-Pipe (Nawaaz) These are ranked in order of quietest to loudest. Sorry, for the seemingly constant changing venue (there were only three locations), but I had to keep away from pesky complaining neighbors and security guards. Also, the audio for the Meisterschaft and Gintani is a bit distorted because I was too close to the cars; my little iPhone mic could not handle all that raw sound. Nawaaz: You were seriously hauling ass in that video; you made the rest of us look like we were driving Ms. Daisy. Tinpot: I want to shoot your Remus Race with Fabspeed X-Pipe next weekend! Absolutely great job...and looked like you guys had much fun!
...gotta be the best 'objective' comparison of a variety of aftermarket-to-OEM exhausts and varied conditions to-date. Wish there was representation by RPI...just a little biased I guess

Very cool video.
Obviously, I think the most bada** M3 exhaust vote goes to Nawaaz. His M3 sounded purely insane. His launches were pretty sick too.

The video turned out great! Im glad I could finally meet up to add something to the video. It should really help a lot of people out when it comes to decision time on aftermarket exhausts. Good job everyone and thanks Frank!

Nawaaz, how fast were you going on that Fly By Run 1? It's shocking because when you were racing down the loading area, it sounded like your car was in a small tunnel or going under an overpass...yet you weren't...you were in a very very wide open space. Amazing sound.

Not a problem, Frank! The exhaust I’m getting on Monday is the RD Sport. My current setup (stock mufflers and Fabspeed x-pipe) sounds amazing plus delivers an additional 20whp over stock!!!! Can’t wait to get the RD Sport on.

Yeah, sorry, it was QTRM3 who had the Remus Race...keep getting things confused. Too bad you're getting the RD Sport installed so quick. I know that JC919 wanted to hear the stock muffler with Fabspeed X-Pipe setup, because he may go that route.

Nawazz hope you are enjoying the new system...and that meistershaft just produces such a sick note...friend just got one on his m5 and it out of this world...sounds better than f430

Awesome comparison video. Thanks for taking the time (even thought it was probably fun ) to make and post the video. Question....for the Meistershaft and Gintani, did the location influence the sound? I am only listening on my laptop right now, but I hear more hints of echo on those two when you are in the loading dock area. They also sound loud enough to the point where it wouldn't matter.
I am interested in the Gintani and RPI setups.....so it would be awesome to hear the results between these two. |

Now I know what people mean, when they say vids don't do nearly enough justice. I'll provide a full, detailed review of my exhaust set-up very soon......And more vids with it. Quote:
I wish I would've known, since I was staying overnight in the Sugarland area @ my relative's home. Was in the Houston area to get dyno tuned by Powerchip. |

Does Gintani have any plans to do a catted x-pipe? I really like the long resonators they use, but a straight pipe would be too loud for me.
