Maybe in a different color it would look much better than the orange!! Try a white light since your ride is white....not saying it would work, but much better than orange if you have a fascination and need this mod!!!

I dunno, I think that might look kinda crazy....imagine at night, you look in your rearview and you see that speeding up behind you.....scary......but +1 I think white would look better.....don't know how it's done though....

Looks like standard underbody neons just mounted behind the grill. I would imagine it is three tubes not six small ones, but I could be wrong.
I used to have underbodys on a truck I had in high school. I had to promise my wife I would not do anything like that to this car (the BMW) so all mods need to stay classy. IMHO, I don't think that this looks too good. Not bad for a show car only, but not an everyday driver.

Guys, please leave your cars stock.
Aftermarket mods just cheapens the look of your cars. That grill looks like the inside view of a toaster. Look retarded. But still better than a dude on this forum who installed some cheap-ass Audi wannabe LED lights to his BMW headlights. That was the most retarded mod I've ever seen. |

you could easily do it with some cold cathode fluorescent tubes, and a bit of easy wiring.
but i don't know why you would...

I think it'd look pretty cool if you put some white led's back there but hidden, so that the grill just glows white.....wouldn't do it on my own car but if anyone else wants to try, go for it!!!
