guys help me decide please!

whats going on guys. i am currently the owner of an e92 335i but this is the story... i got a letter from bmw of las vegas saying that they are low in their used car inventory and would like to buy my car back and put me in a new 08 or 09. id love to drive an e92 m3! not to mention they supposedly have great incentives, cash back and low APRS. so what do you guys think?

Give it a shot! Remember, most all dealers are sending in mailers and trying to persuade many to trade in their current vehicle for a new one. Make sure you get a reasonable deal on the trade-in and on the new car if you decide.

If you can afford it, sure! But be aware that they are most likely going to seriously lowball you on the buyback of your 335, thus great decreasing, if not negating the discounts you will get on the M.

That said, it's a great machine and if you have the ability to buy one it would be a crime not to.

sounds like a marketing ploy, they just want to sell you a new car. dealers HATE taking trade in's because it's a liability if they can't sell it at a profit. they take trade in's only so they can sell you a new car. and this is also why they low ball you on the trade in.

let me take that back. they LOVE taking your trade in, if they can pay you like half of what it's really worth for it.

edit: when I bought my M3, my dealer offered me $10k for my '03 mini cooper S. I said no way, and sold it on my own for almost $17k. so if you can sell it on your own, you're almost always better off.
