I test drove an M5 and an M3. The M5 steering felt vague to me, while M3 was more connected to the road? I dont know if there are any different thoughts..

^^ I will say that the consensus of everyone at the two-day M school I attended was that while the M5 was a beast of a car, the M3 was what everyone wanted at the track. And five of the 15 drivers in attendance drove F10 M5's... 'nuff said!

I love the m5 and the m3.

But right now, I like the immediacy of the m3. But if I did more road trips and longer drives, id rock the m5.

Something like a z4m and an m5 would be one hell of a stable.

But for a do it all, the current m is pretty legit
