custom side gills

i've been thinking of customizing 2 sets of side gills to match the 2 sets of wheels that I'm alternating with...

i bought a second set of side gills from fellow member
(eclipsisNA) btw..this guy is awesome to deal with

...

1st set will be black gills /red lens
maybe MR owners want to do this too..or not

2nd set will be the gold/ red combo ( ironm3n theme)
probably not everybody will going to like it..

DIY is a little bit PITA....but here are some pix of the 1st set black / red combo..sorry got no time to change into black wheels

still working on the 2nd set for the gold/red combo

i know its not a big deal for some of you with this small mods..
comparing to all those big/expensive builds that i envy a lot..but it gives me inspiration and idea on what im gonna do with my car

I think the gold and red would look good but I would also try gold and dark tint and also CF with the red too. If you could somehow get a red tone CF pattern this would look very cool.

tnx, i already thought about the CF side gills/red lens...so i ordered from of the vendors here....the gold/red, im having problem right now since i couldnt find the exact color match of my wheels.

what about tinting the yellow reflector into red? what you're take on this

so i decided to tint the reflector...
not great but good enough to change the yellow color..
good thing about tinting is...
still keep the purpose of reflector
and it matches the tint of the side gills too
