Does pretty well in the snow. 35's, front and rear lockers, and a winch and tow straps to help out others.

If you are talking about safety, I have Blizzaks and they are great. It was also a short drive at slow speed so no issues whatsoever, the car handled really well.

I also drove it on a 42-mile commute in the highway after the last snowstorm here and, again, I felt safe.

However, if you are talking about "driving a M3 in the snow" as it was an automotive sin, I think this is just BS. Why the hell would somebody pay good money for a nice car then buy a crappy beater to drive around in the winter? Because there is salt on the roads?!

It is a M3, but it is also just a freaking car. Just drive it and have fun. After all, thats the point of having a M3, isn't it?

Thats fresh snow this morning in Massachusetts. Long story short, I spent the night in a hotel with no covered parking and woke up with my car buried in snow. After 20 minutes of digging I started the engine and drove over a big pile of snow in front of the car without much drama (look at the other cars in the lot). I went on to drive another 1/2 mile to my work.

Here is a picture of the car in the garage at my work:
