Anybody get this from BMW after ED?

At first I was kind of excited to get an unexpected package from BMW. Audi sent a ton of cool schwag with their ED program, so I figured this would be fun. Looks like a bunch of liberal propaganda. Four audio discs of things like "Al Gore, 15 ways to avoid a climate crisis", and "Rick Warren, living a life of purpose." My personal favorite, "Rives, "If I controlled the internet" (A poem)... I was half expecting Margaret Thatcher's greatest hits

Now I haven't given any of this a fair shake and listened yet, but I gotta say, the cool shoulder bag, European Map book and the Transporter 2 DVD Audi sent was waaaaay more exciting than this...

I got it as well. To be honest, I have not watched any of the DVD's either. I spent most of my time during redelivery checking out possible mods and killing time over at bimmerfest. I still need to get around to writing a trip report.

I think everyone who buys a 'new' BMW gets this, I have gotten this or something similar with the last 4 cars I've purchased.

I got the same thing with my 335...looked over it for something important and threw it out.

Nothing to do with ED. Everybody gets it. In any case, your first impression was correct. Don't waste your time... it's crap.

Watch the DVD in the middle folder... Its quite worthwhile.

Actually, some of the TED talks are quite good. I was impressed.

While I'd put Gore in the liberal camp, I'm not sure I'd do the same with Rick Warren.
