Great work on the mods, are you planning on doing anything more to the engine? maybe headers?

Yep, headers and downpipes probably and I'll evaluate other alternatives as they become avaliable.

On the whole weight of seats. OEM bmw seats are rediculously heavy.

The recaro pole positions i put in my e46 weight a little under 30 pounds a piece which is a great weight savings and they are so comfortable even for long drives.

How much did they cost ya?

If you PM me the part numbers on the seats i can check with my importer on how much they would cost

I read in one forum : 31,48kg each one. But one friend from an Italian forum weighed the seating and the result was almost 34 kg (75 lbs!!) each one.
The performance ones seem to be lighter : around 24,5 kg each one (54,4 lbs). But from a German catalogue it seems that they declare only 3 kg less (6,6lbs) for each seating. I think we need an help for the translation from a German friend...:-)
As BMW-M-Mexico has pointed out, the seats do have air bags.

It's reiterated here that there are side-impact airbags, also the site mentions that the seats are heated... I couldn't find anything to suggest that they were significantly lighter than stock weight.

Any recomendations on where to get the Breyton lowering springs? I have found Eibach's with essentially the same specs. Anyone have an opinion? Also are there any cons to lowering?

Thanks for the offer. At 6K for the set, I will hold off for a while. I will prolly spend that cash on some other mods first.

I was not aware there are several BBK's for this vehicle. But anyway, it is the 380mm rotor all around package with 6/4 pot calipers front/rear. Net weight savings is about 40 lbs.

Yep... BREMBO & STOPTECH (one of the members has it here) both make a BBK for the new M3.

Which company makes yours? you didnt specify a brand!

Hahaha!! You are totally correct, I did take a look at stop tech and the CCB as well and even the Brembo Race, thought this was the best option. For some reason I was thinking BBK stood for Brembo Brake Kit and its Big Brake Kit. Hahaha!! Oh well. This is why I was not aware of other kits.
