WTF is up with lazy azz shoppers and shopping karts?

Sorry to hear that bro... I'm not looking forward to going back to the States because of $hit like this. In Germany, people put their carts back and are always very careful when opening their doors.

haha same here. I thought it was a stupid sticker they put there to scare you until it stopped so suddenly.

the guy had to come with this box and unlock it.

They have this system at our local supermarket, and since I park further away than most, it engaged when I was about 10 feet from my car. Consequently, I pro formed the Heimlich maneuver on myself when I ran into the cart while attempting to push it.

Not surprised that ALDI has that smart, car protective setup. Its a German Based Company "Albrecht Discount." They are also the parent company to Trader Joe's.

It's amazing this herding instinct that people have. I parked in Tescos the other night. Miles from anyone. Must have been at least 500 spaces to choose from. I come back to find some idiot parked next to me. Really close. It must have been really hard for the dick head to get out of their car. WTF is up with people?

I was at the gym which is in the same location of a strip-mall. Believe me, I parked far away from everyone, but like always, idiots are attracted to shiny new things.

Oh yes, I can't stand this! Believe it or not, the best place I've found is next to minivans with sliding doors...provided there is some room for the kids to get in. Parking too far away makes you a prime target for a keying.

Sounds like these supermarkets don't calibrate their systems properly and don't anticipate anyone would actually park so far away!
