Passing P cars at Road Atlanta
My second outing to Road Atlanta in December with an outfit called Just Track It. Almost 3 seconds faster than my first trip thanks in part to some feedback from this group. There were a lot of P cars in the intermediate group, including a beautiful Cayman GT4 and a 991 that I had fun catching. Can't wait to get back there in 2016.

Were you at Roebling in November? Don't remember seeing you there. That was my first weekend with JTI, and they were great. They will be back at roebling in April, check it out.

Cool vid with the switchbacks. Always a good thing to get better each time out. That should be the main goal. Not lap times but skill and all of a sudden you lap times will drastically drop. Only thing I disagree with is the title. I always chuckle when a title says passing x car or racing y car in a title. Who cares. You should be beating your ghost all the time (gran turismo)!
You're using race render right? I can send you my template if you want. Check out my vid I posted in this section as well.

One mic was taped to the bumper and another mic was in the engine bay. I wrapped an old sock around the mic in the engine bay to minimize the wind noise. I haven't been to Roebling yet but it is on my list. Hoping to get back to RA in March with JTI or HOD. Definitely VIR in April with BMW!

Are P cars the standard or something? They don't tend to set the fastest times at the days I attend.

Having instructed for PCA I would say that p-cars are NOT the standard. They are nice for sure but its the GT3s and TTs that we chase, anything less than that usually gets passed by a lightly modified M3.

great video. can I ask on both of your camera views. Front hood and inside, where did you place the mic? you can really hear the s65 well.

Thanks. I have a lavalier mic that I wrapped in a sock and taped behind the air intake. The mic inside the car ran out the trunk and was taped in the middle of the bumper.
