Could not have said it better myself and I even tried to in my post. I hope everyone here gets a chance to be in one and drive one. It is all the hype and more.......Steve

There's a big difference between what happens on the street where there are numerous constraints (traffic, road conditions, driver preparedness and skill) and what the cars can actually do.
I'd love to try out a Ferrari - any model.

Ferrari's are pure passion. I prefer the "normalness" of Porsche, but I would die to own and drive a Zonda or a Ferrari regularly.
"We don't sell a car, we sell a dream" A BMW is a stupid mass produced grocery getter in comparison. |

I'll always remember this statement from Ferrari's UGR video. And I agree with your last statement. |

For those of you wanting to drive these cars, I'm sure you've heard of the companies that allow you to spend half a day driving different exotics for around $1700. I haven't done it but have heard good things. There's also a driving circuit in Vegas where you can buy laps in various exotics. Haven't tried that either but thought I would mention that as well. Just my .02. |

Love the F430, had a buddy run the Lambo/bentley dealership downtown Chicago and was able to drive just about everything but the veyron and Enzo. Absolutely love the ferrari's and lambos, the sound, the look Thay being said actually lapped a 430 in the intermediate group 2 weeks ago. Think I'll take that in my 4 door But yes, Ferrari wins on all fronts but the fact that the little bimmer can keep up and it's really about driver proficiency, really shows how awesome the M3 really is. Plus can't fit 2 car seats on the back

I would agree that it is their slogan, but I stole it since it to applies to Ferrari to.
Each of these builders is very unique in their character and march to their own tune......Steve

Jesus people F430's slow??
Firstly, it pulled 2 car lengths in 45 mph.... That means M3s are molasses under some of these theories Maybe it's not as fast as newer cars (DUH) but the things trap 120+ MPH in the 1/4 mile. That means an M3 or a 335 with every "bolt on" is still not going to take one. By god F355s are still fast in my head. They nearly match E90/2 performance in 1996

F430 is sooo nutty compared to a M3 in almost every performance aspect.
He probably didn't even realize you were racing him. Still love my E92 though.
