For Sale Genuine BMW Front Disc - reduced price

I have for sale a front pair of Original BMW brake disc, they are 100 miles old.

I bought these to replace my warp front disc after a trackday but then decided to buy a set of AP brake. They were only used for 100 Miles on the road.

I bought these for £495 + Vat from Halliwell Jones I am asking for £300.00 + shipping. Or can be collected from Warrington, Cheshire.

Please pm me for any details or Call 07919388881

Thanks

Max

I got no interest at all so price is reduce now to £250.00 + postage or any sensible offer.

I also got a set of BMW Std front brake pads that also had done 100 miles for £80.00 + postage.

Ok max, thought its was you , the 997/ GTR tag and Warrington gives yr id away , so are the APs a huge improvement on the stock setup ??

g luck with the sale by the way ...i would buy these but i dont do alot of mileage so wont need brakes disc for at least a few years !!

With std caliper, I will have to swap in my race pads for track use and my brakes are adequate but its a nuisance cause I do a few trakdays. Due to the poor std caliper design and construction, a very aggressive race pad (with high temp capabilties and high friction) must be used to make the std caliper work, but the by-product is unbearable brake squeal during normal road use and high disc wear. Also race pads are expensive.

With AP you will be able to use a milder pad due to a more efficient caliper design. More rigid, higher clamping force, better heat desippation etc etc. And you get proper design 2 piece disc so disc warpping won't be a problem.

Overall if you do a few trackdays a year I will say its worth it to invest in AP. My original race pads Carbontech did a great job and lasted me 3 hard trackday.
