2009 E90 M3, Track, Front Camber adjustments?
Anyone know of a good place in the Bay Area with in depth knowledge of what is possible with regards to camber settings on an E90 M3? I track my car at least 5 or 6 times a year. It my DD so I am looking for a solution that works well both at the track and for daily driving. Having adjustable camber plates I can switch from "track" to "DD" use would be ideal but it seems like there is nothing out there for the E9x M3s.
Does anyone have a recommended shop that can help and does their own alignments (i.e. does not outsource it)? |

TC Design in Milpitas and Roger Krauss Racing in Castro Valley have been my go-to shops over the years. They're both race shops with tons of practical knowledge. Have them take the extra time to mark your plates for street and track settings so you can replicate it yourself for track days.

Sorry for the very late reply. I am not using any camber plates right now. It seems like the only real option is to get the Dinan plates. What I don't like about them is they raise the front a bit and if you get them installed by Dinan, they cost an arm and a leg.

BTW...An update. I was able to get about -1.6 of front camber with Dinan springs and the pins pulled. I am very happy with the setup considering I don't have camber plates.
Cheers! |
