It depends...

Corner entry understeer, mid-corner understeer, exit understeer?

Typically, you can soften the front compression or increase the rear compression to dial out general understeer, but it's much more complex than that.

Also, understeer can occur by driving too fast in the slow bits of the course, 'jumping' off the brakes or on the throttle, adding too much steering angle, or all of the above.

You're gonna have to provide some additional info for specific help.

corner entry, not sure if its because my tires are brand new but it feels floaty and i have to turn my steering wheel more than usual when entering a corner.

Hello M3 guys, I'm looking for a good track config with KW V3 (E92 335i).

Actually the car suffers mid-corner understeer.

At the moment I run the reccommended KW settings for this car:

Front: rebound 9 Clicks open | bump: 5 Clicks open
Rear: rebound 6 clicks open | bump 5 Clicks open

Have you also a good height setup?

Thank you

New to the KW V3 adjustment and bringing this thread back to life. When u adjust my rebound and bump, am I supposed to turn it clockwise max it out and then do the recommended 6 clicks counterclockwise? I guess what's confusing is the open and close. I know that closed is maxed out, but when they say 6 clicks open does that mean I max it at close and click 6 times back to open it? Maybe I'm over thinking it? Help is appreciated, thanks!

Yes whenever the documentation states number of clicks etc it is usually always to stiffen it (turn it to full hard) and then click it back the required number of clicks etc. It's the same with Ohlins and Bilsteins too.
