Does thermal coating effect/enhance performance?
Question - "Is there any performance benefit to thermal coating" - since thermal coating decreases external radiant heat loss ("54%") from the pipes and the entire system, does that mean a higher internal temperature, and hotter less dense exhaust gas (which should flow faster due to less resistance?) at the tips. If so does this equate to less back-pressure, and less torque? Some back pressure is needed for torque production. Or is it better to have a cooler (ie more dense) exhaust gas within the system, to maintain some back pressure and torque (ie no thermal coating, or wrapping, to let the heat dissipate from the length of the system)? Or is there no effect - just my basic understanding of physics, correct/incorrect? - not an engineer. Those that are, please comment/clarify.

how much does something like this cost? or to just thermal coat and etch the tips?
