Brembo Guys. Getting rid of Brake Pad Warning

How do you guys get rid of this warning on the dash? Code it out?

Is there another way? My sensors are tied back, but they are somehow not disabled.

I'm sure this is not the recommended BMW way to do it, but if you cut the sensor wire and strip the coating, you'll find two wires inside. When you splice those together, your code should go away, though you probably have to do it for all 3 sensors assuming they aren't in the pads.

The system shouldn't error if the sensors are intact... I'm betting one of your wires is broken or something because that's what happened to me.. Over time one of my sensors worked it's way free from being tied back and got chopped off.. All i did was twist the ends together and the error went away.. Not a big deal the sensors were made to self destruct anyways when your brake pads are low.

BTW, I think the Endless replacement brake pads for Brembo come with a slot for the sensor..

Try resetting the service computer and see if the warning goes away. Here are the instructions: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51049

If it does not go away after resetting, one of your sensors may be broken, missing, etc. as others have suggested.

Hate to say it, but I'll admit that I cut mine out.
No codes.
Don't ask how, but it is done!

This service reset isn't working on my car. It wants me to reset the mileage which there is no way to do.
