You forgot Palladium Silver! Should look good with IB.
It's another shade of colour, not too similiar with the standard grey dakota leather!

The German (european) catalogue is available now. But it's almost identical to the brochures that were available since april...

anyone else think the navigation should come standard on a 60k car!
Navigation is standard on UK cars. Is that not the case everywhere?

However, we do have to pay £75 for floor mats!!!

No floor mats on a £50K car

Funny how specs differ. Why should you need navigation any less than we do in the UK?

What is your launch date?

Why not

I haven't seen the recommended combos before. That in the brochure? I can't believe that SG/Bamboo isn't recommended. On the configurator it looks good.
So far the PS looks way to grey, it looks alot better on the configurator.

Our launch is on Sept. 15th, a week after UK launch.

I don't know if we need Nav less, this also could be due to the massive I-Drive criticism!?

Yeah, that are the recommendations out of the brochure.

Hi Silman

I got caught last time when the E46 came out and there was a 2 year waiting list, so I was ultra-cautious.

Regarding my current E46, I'm actually based near Glasgow now, but my car is already over 87k miles. I've agreed with a specialist performance dealer (who I know through club motorsport), that he'll pay me the same as the dealer offered and he will market for me, then split the proceeds. Seems like a good deal to me

My cars spec is very basic i.e. 18's and only a CD-multi-play.

Cheers .. DC

Won't do red. The silver doesn't look that good from previous shots. So all is left is black, which I am not totally in love with.

What is your combo?

8 ssEptember will be launched on the showrooms.
The colour samples are not really that much too look at anyways. I checked some of them out today and compared the Nightblue with my own car. You would never believe that it is supposed to be the same colour. It seems like the sample lack the "metallic" feel of the paint and gives you a rather dull "2D" representation of the colour.

There was a Space Grey E92 with black interior there, the colour really suits the 3 series coupe and I do think it will look great on the new M3, but I think there is enough grey cars already.

Here's for hoping the individual colours are available in September!

I'm a big fan of blue cars, so I'm a big fan of IB...
Interior wise, I just don't like any kind of beige interiors, so either black or palladium silver. The interior photos of the catalogue did quite appeal me. To me PS in combination with the CF leather trim is great, noble and sporty at the same time. But I don't want to talk you into something...it's your choice!
What trim would you combine with the bamboo beige?

Since SS2 has a shade of blue in it (which is quite visible in sunlight) it seems logical not to be recommended with a red leather.

It's a shame that there is no bright true silver. I really dislike the blueish cast to SSII. It almost seems baby blue in certain light.

I am a little hesitant about the purple remarks made of IB.

Now on to your question. Obviously, I would like Piano Black, but that probably won't happen. Was thinking about the wood, but would like to see it more. See how really "high-gloss" it is. If it doesn't work, then CF leather would be the default choice. Just not excited about any of the options.
If the PS isn't too gray and drab, then I would consider.
The spy pic posted of the IB with bamboo in CA didn't look too bad.
