Why can't they have real CF trim optional instead of that ugly stamped leather.

BMW doesn't need you...a real CF trim is available as extra equipment, about 1.200€ in Germany.

I'm not a fan of the wood trim (a requirement for the american market apparently according to one of BMW's product managers at the event) so didn't really pay much attention to them.

I can say though, that the base trim (titan shadow, I think), is pretty much exactly the same as the titan shadow available for the e46 m3. So that means nasty creaky trim that will probably blister in the sunshine, so avoid at all costs !

The aluminium trim you've seen in all the other models, and just looked the same. And the carbon leather trim was first seen in the Z4M and again looked the same.

For me at least, I think the Carbon with extended leather (in black) looked good together.

Also, the center console although is not in the trim ... is still covered in leather (or at least material that looks like leather, as it had a slight grain in it).

Oh, the piano black looked nice, but as already discussed we simply dont know if BMW USA will offer that as of yet.

I had no problems w/ the Titanium Shadow in my '03 M3, so I would consider it again along w/ the carbon leather. Piano black would be sick though!

lol, why i cant be a BMW consultant, we can do pimp things. 1200 euros for some trims is a little bit over inflated.

Well, where I come from pimpin' has no good connotations. It is flash and ostentatiousness (16 letters, pretty good!) over substance, which is pretty much totally opposite from what the M3 is about. Pimpin' brings to mind chrome dubs with spinners, and other equally tasteless (IMO) manifestations. If that's not what you're about, you may want to change your terminology, because the concept totally turns me (and I'll bet most other M3 enthusiasts) off.

Don't forget red rims, yellow rims and green rims too. And giant wings and 300 lb body kits with two dozen non-functional vents.

Oh, and GTR badges and coffee can mufflers.

Remember, no need to "hate what some one else like." Its all good right?

Not hating. You said BMW should recruit people like you to design(pimp) their cars.

No, thank you. I believe they are in the business of selling cars.
