What one does whilst they wait for their M3 to be built and arrive...
Ladies and Gents,
I'm waiting for my M3 to arrive... I have "several" days until it arrives. I have started this thread to see if anybody has any ideas of how to stay sane whilst waiting for my new baby! Would love to hear from you. Cheers.

+100!
Already in motion - last 10 weeks have stack on the pounds with a really crap project - getting myself into fine form so that I can handle those curves of the seat... and any potential curves of the lady that might sit in the passenger seat! Quote:

Jesal - got some recommendations for me... I'm in Australia so don't think that I have the quantity of mods available here... but thinking upgrading exhaust for starters and chipped.

For me, I had to have the vorsteiner front lip, Eisenmann Exhaust, and H&R sport springs for the major stuff on my M3. Also either a vorsteiner diffuser or the new GTM diffuser would set things off nicely. If you bought a 6-speed manual then i suggest the Rogue short shift kit as well. Also painted reflectors, painted side grilles, and front grilles always complete the look without breaking the bank. Heres what my car ended up looking like with just those mods. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...hlight=project Contact me and im sure i can help you with other goodies. We do ship to Australia as well.

+1 on searching and researching mods for your M3 and getting them ready for install!
Just for some smaller DIY exterior mods, you can go with Matte Black kidney and fender grilles. |

E92 Space Grey M-DCT (Australia it comes fully loaded) but equivalent of: Tech Kit Premiumi Kit Bluetooth Kit PDC (front and rear) iDrive 19" OEMs I don't mind your front lip - I've also seen the carbon fibre ones... does it make a difference when parking/driving into drives in respect to front clearance?

Heres a dyno for the Eisenmann Race system. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...eisenmann+dyno
If you add an Xpipe and delete the cats then you free up a good amount of power. Plus is sounds insane! Theres a few different combination for exhausts. Really need to sit back and watch all the videos on this forum. Its a great way to kill time while trying to find which exhaust notes would fit your style. My Vorsteiner lip does look low but surprisingly its not much lower than when there was no lip. I havent had any issues and my car is a daily driver. Its one of the things I love about it. What color interior did you go with? Space grey was my 2nd choice for exterior color.

Nawaaz - is that why you have such dark tints? Has your M3 become a set? Anyway...
Jesal - heard both exhaust notes.... they are pretty loud - not sure which I prefer. Do you have your M3 chipped... what does that do to the warranty?
