Sorry man, already a thread on this. And I don't think about age, I think about experience. The driver should be experienced.

So my question is, what age do you think a guy/girl should get this kind of car?
My brother turned 19 in May. He got his in April. He gave me his E46 and Im 18
How young are you guys or do you know someone thats young with this kind of car?

BTW damn you guys are 18 and 19 and both drive M3's ??? are your parents millionares or something ? i mean i am not jealous but i think if its your first car it should be something OK to drive around with but nothing close to an M3. because 18-20 yr olds will be 18-20 yr olds and drive like crazy and you can get into an accident like THAT, so to your question here is my answer: Whenever you are mature enough to drive responsibly, obviously this guy wasn't and thats why he ended up like this and + he got into UCLA so he got brains for work but not enough brain for a car like that !!! once again your lucky to drive a car like an M3 at that age, i know i would probably have a heart attack if i got that car but i think i would not get rid of it until i get really bored with it, because that is just one amazing machine (best m3 in my opinion)

I'm confident I would be dead or severely impaired if I had this car when I was 19.

Don't you know, there's a dozen or so 18 year olds in here who bought their M3s cash. They've been working for 20 years and own their own company
