Refinishing powder coated wheels?

Hello everyone.

There isn't much traffic or a sub-forum for wheels for the 7 series so I thought I'd try you guys.

We got the M-sport wheels powdercoated this spring and we are very happy with how they turned out. Unfortunately, my lovely wife has already managed to curb two of them.

Both sets of wheels (18" winters) were refinished prior to us purchasing the vehicle and they were perfect. My question is once wheels have been powdercoated can they be refinished and then re-powdercoated? I understand that the more high heat they encounter the greater the chance of compromising the stability of them.

Thank you in advance everyone.

You can always have the problem areas fixed then just have the wheels painted.
