What the hell time is "3 tm"? I know AM and PM, but TM? Is that some new form of time that exists in the same fantasy world where you have an Aston Martin and don't live in your mom's basement?

Prior to my decision to go with the M3 I drove both back to back and was disappointed with the C63. I liked the performance of the vehicle, but the fit and finish left me very disappointed. The only thing I liked about the interior of the C were the seats. Among the biggest disappointment was the cheap plastic inside.

My M3, on the other hand, felt solid. I will say that I wish BMW made some "M-specific" upgrades to the interior other than just the stitching.

As for the actual driving of the two vehicles the C did not have the lag that the DCT had and had a little more torque. The M just had a more solid feel. I remember pulling in to the dealer's lot after the drive and saying out loud "This is it. This is my car."

Again, my apologies for trying to get this thread back on track.

I must question if you really did test drive a C63. Aside from the interior/exterior which is undoubtedly subjective, your comments about your “alleged” test drive are suspicious. My previous car, 04 E46 SMG, shifted significantly faster then the 7G transmission in the C63. With that being said how could you say M-DCT , with its “lag” due to a software flaw, shifts slower then the 7G transmission which only features “throttle-blipping” on down shifts? Now I will admit I never drove an M-DCT M3 but with using simple logic and technical research on the transmission itself, M-DCT is a HUGE step forward over SMG let alone a 7-speed automatic. Furthermore your post would suggest an order of 7G, M-DCT, and SMG from best to worst while in reality it would be M-DCT, SMG, and 7G. The SMG transmission in my old M3 could perform multiple downshifts quicker then any scenario in my C63. Also your comment about the C63 having a “little more torque” over the M3 was the smoking gun in my opinion that leads me to believe you never drove the car. 295lb-ft Vs 443 lb-ft is a pretty big delta if I would say so.

You better watch out now. He might accuse you of owning a 328i and pretending to own an M3.

He reminds me of George B. JR's friend driving his dad's Laguna Seca Blue E46 M3 back in the day thinking he was some big wig.

Was that on the Internet back when the E46 first came out? I remember some pics of some kid showing off in an LSB M3 that wasn't even his.
