Every model I've seen, low optioned, well maintained BMW's in a nice color always sell much much quicker for good money.
They've sold 5 or 6 E39 M5s now for north of $60k in the past 18 months, one Alpine White with 11k miles sold for over $70k. Pretty crazy stuff.

I don't know if you've seen, but they've more or less bought up all the clean Z3M clownshoes with S54 and have them all for sale for an insane price. While you'll probably never see me shopping for cars over there, I'll go on that website just to see what kind of eye candy they have

EAG has nice cars but prices them ridiculous. That doesn't mean they're selling any either...

Believe it or not, they are selling these cars. They never negotiate on price unless a car has been there a really long time which is rare. It was just a couple of months ago that their E39 M5 inventory was probably triple what it is now, and I had the thought that they had overextended themselves pricing these cars...and then they sold them all.

That car is pretty rare. I think there's only like 2,xxx clownshoes total ever made.

For E90 M3 alone, the non-sunroof cars were 28% of 2008 production and 26.5% of 2009-2011 production (note this is USA only data).

Assuming that ratio is approximately the same for the 2011 model year, and the fact that there were 2170 cars in 2011 model year with 30% being 6MT (651 cars), then 651 6MT cars times 0.265 ~ 173 E90 M3s had no sunroof and 6MT in 2011 model year.

Regards,
Chuck
I guess I have 1 of 3 Monte Carlo Blue E90 M3s in the US!

Mine has DCT, cloth, no sunroof, and iPod integration. That's it. Oh yeah...and an awesome driver

If DCT proves reliable long term, none of this, except possibly sunroof delete, will matter to any measurable extent to enthusiasts.
