Nice collection of all the photos we've seen in one place.

How sweet. I can't wait. I hope DSG isn't delayed too long.

Not so good

Lightest V8 in the world - hardly, F360 and F430 are both lighter.

A 2009 model released in Europe this Sept?

Not so great of an article.

Cup holders for E92 M3?

Notice some difference between the official production photos vs videos on the cup holders.

According to this picture there is no cup holder above glove compartment:

This video shows otherwise:

Is there an option not to have it in the package when ordering the car?

Mufflers

I hate how the silver muffler is easily seen from almost any angle from the back.

Agreed, I hope that isn't on production. How does BMW not see that and thing, sh!t, we need to fix that. It is VERY unappealing. Reminds me of a 2nd rate car.

I actually like it, more "racing" style w/ an exposed muffler.

Maybe if the mufflers looked nice. This muffler looks like crap. In any case, it is a design oversight that wasn't there in the E46 M3

Just take some barbeque paint and spray her down. Just kidding. It doesn't really bother me, but I do remember a lot of people complaining about the same thing when the new Mustang was released, after having them under the car and out of sight for so long on the previous generations. I just don't think it looks that bad.

+1 on that. Not much is really irking me about the car but this is a problem. I have always liked the way these cars totally hide all of their underbody features. Not so in this vehicle...

Cupholders are an option in europe. You get them for €110 together with a small storage compartment under the light switch. We get ripped over here, as usual!

BMW got to address this issue, paint it in black or something. The same size tire profile e.g. 245/40 (front) and 265/40 (rear) also led the rear with extra 0.25 - 0.50 inch taller compare to 245/40 (front) and 265/35 (rear). It made the car lift a bit on the rear and expose the muffler even more.

Not sure if the US customers even got this option or not.

for the US, cup holders are standard!!! why because we are all selfish fat bastards that like to eat while we drive LOL!!! in america we have to have everything biggie sized! on a serious note we get alot of options standard due to the fact of the high demand for these options and we get stupid things done specially for us like crappy manuals in the M5 because we can. LOL ohhh and we have the Fonz *ehhhhhhh*

hehe Mike

Just lower it and you won't be able to see it anymore. Problem solved.

They also need a 7-11 Slurpee size cup holder.....like they did for the E46 M3

That's just great...

I love having stuff I don't want forced upon me just because the masses think it's a great idea.
