Brake Ducting for Track...
Do we have any options in regards to brake ducting? Proper, bumper-to-rotor ducts? ... something like this - http://www.quantummotorsports.com/index.html
I have not found anything so far. Peraps someone can get to Quantum and get them started on a kit... thanks, TomK

I would love to buy a brake duct kit for my car. if not then im going to custom make a duct, it's very important to cool down the brakes on track. especially for those who track their car frequently.

I hope someone will come up with some ducts for the E9x M3 soon. This and perhaps some R compound tires is all this car needs to be truly a weekend track car.

The only thing is, you would have to cover the ducts when your not on the track, on the street those ducts make the brakes unnecessarily cool. Which affects stopping power obviously.

I don't think that's an issue with stock pads which are made to be effective at normal driving temps. The cooling effect provided by the ducts won't make the brakes any cooler than the ambient temp and stock pad will work fine at any temp.
