Would you weld on a cat back system?
I just picked up a used exhaust and during installation i discovered the only way to put it on is the cut and weld. I was really reluctant but i had no choice. I know some people prefer this route but it's so permanent.

Any exhaust shop can just fabricate the slip-joints or a 2-/3-bolt flange for easy removal.

No. Have a v-band connection welded on so you can at least take it off when the time comes. Have the stock exhaust modded the same way so it's a quick swap when you need it.

I misread what you posted. You should be fine. I would just hate a welded setup.

Did you pick up a Dinan? I know you've been looking for one. Unless you got a no name/generic will fit brand or a hacked up piece, they should all be bolt on. You might have been missing a flange adapter.
