How often do you drive hard?

I don't mean taking it to red line once. I mean how often do you keep it in a gear lower than you should, blaring at 4k RPM's while cruising, hammering the throttle to get up to speed, etc.? Real hard driving for more than just one gear change.

I did some spirited driving myself today, rarely ever approaching the red line, just doing what I mentioned above, and man it was a blast! Just wonder how often people drive like this and if the car can handle this kind of high RPM driving on a regular basis.

Seriously, this car makes me smile every time I drive it!

I like to give the car a good razz whenever I drive it pretty much. Feels as if I'm 'cleaning' her..

Daily keep it in 6k-8600 as often as I can. Don't burn a drop of oil at 70k plus miles and never had any engine parts needing fixed. I believe driving an engine designed for high revs does better with constant beating as long as its warmed well, frequent oil changes and frequent spark plugs

I don't hammer the throttle very often but when I see a Prius I double tap the Downshift paddle.

A lot

Better question to ask would be " How often do you Not drive your M Hard"?

I don't shift till 4k just normal driving.. i like hearing my exhaust, but I say I push it somewhat at least once a day. I enjoy driving the car and use it for what its meant to.
