No front PDC in US

Only things I can think of are 1) One less style front cover to manufacture and stock; 2) Keep the US option prices down.

Frankly, I don't think front PDC is needed on a car this size, but that's just MO.

I agree its not really needed, but like always, its nice to have. I do like it and its cool. And once you have it, you grow to really take advantage of it.

And sure it may save a few $$$ to stock one less bumper especially in the USA where you are accustomed to soooo many options. Over here we only get one option, CF sun roof. Thatīs it, everything else is standard and included. So they really only stock one bumper. I think over there it is washers are an option, but then add PCD, they would have to stock 4!!

thanks for the part number. greg (or somebody else), wonder if you can confirm that it is in the system. $550 doesn't sound too bad I guess. Gasman i'm glad you found something positive out of the accident.

Not if the current gas prices don't sound bad--I paid around $300 through the dealer for my E46 one about 4 1/2 years ago.

Does it come painted or primed? or is that extra from the dealer's body shop?

Primed. You must get it painted, so that['s a few hundred more with R&R.

Any update on this? Has anyone successfully ordered the bumper cover and if so, how much was it? I tried to search on the part number at Tischer and got nothing, probably because it's a Euro part number...
