My 2015 Mustang Review

Hey guys,

Check out my 2015 Mustang GT review on MotoIQ.com:

"I’m a little late to the party since there are already plenty of reviews on the all-new 2015 S550 Mustang GT, but this review will take a slightly different angle written by a MotoIQer for MotoIQers. Just the information you care about, how it compares to previous Mustangs, and how it stacks up as a sports car and not just a muscle car."

Enjoy!

Nice review Billy! I am looking forward to taking one of these for a spin one of these days, I am more interested in the GT350 as I think it could be great track car at a "reasonable" price given where it will likely stack up against much more expensive rivals.

PS. Congrats on the recent nuptials! All the best

Nice write up. I cancelled my 15 Gt pre-order when I bought my e92 and am very happy I did, but damn that is a sharp car.!

Hey guys,

Here's my 2015 Mustang ECOBOOST review on MotoIQ.com:

"We test Ford’s new 2015 Mustang EcoBoost to determine if a turbocharged 4-cylinder Mustang bridges the gap between the American Hot-Rodding community and Import Tuners. How does the Ecoboost stack up against rear-wheel drive icons such as the Honda S2000, turbocharged all-wheel-drive cars like the Subaru WRX, and hot hatches like the VW Golf GTI? Read on to find out."

Enjoy!

Surprised by your thoughts on the Ecoboost's powertrain; I just didn't see the appeal with that motor when I drove one. The power delivery peaks in the midrange and the noise is rather industrial. It felt like an efficient means of punch, but it did nothing for me emotionally-speaking.

Aside from that, I loved both of your reviews! These cars are one hell of a bargain. I can't get enough of my GT.

I guess that's why you don't own an F80 M3/4 and you own a Mustang GT

Like I said in the article, I do like turbochargers and find them very fun and engaging to drive because they require you to think more, like a 2-stroke dirtbike, which I grew up on. While 4-strokes are better in many ways, 2-strokes are a ton of fun when you get them up on the pipe.

Thanks for the feedback, glad to hear you are enjoying your GT

Great reviews all around. I'm still not totally sold on the new car. I have a 2013 GT Track Pack car with RECARO's and save for some suspension parts and the forged engine I got the BOSS Jr. With looming retirement on the horizon and two cars to get from Europe to the states the GT is up for sale. The replacement will likely be the E90 or E92. There are some great used ones out there to be had. Although I have toyed with getting an ECOboost and see how that suits me with all the aftermarket goodness that is sure to follow.

I think most people will find turbos to be fun on the right setup. what the guy you quoted was more saying was the Eco boost engine, felt to much like a eco boost engine. it didn't feel or sound how you would want your sports car to be.

i think the 4 banger turbo in a mustang is pretty lame, and i personally do not know of any male friends who would never buy one. My guess its made for women, and Europe.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but if you read the article you might have learned something and not have made a statement as ignorant as "All BMW owners are pompous pricks".
