edmunds invoice vs. dealer invoice
i've been getting quotes recently and i've realized that the edmunds invoice price is slightly different than the invoice price that dealers are quoting me...furthermore, different dealers (in the same metro area) quote slightly different invoice prices...this leads me to believe the following;
1) the edmunds invoice price does not include maco and training... 2) dealers add/consider maco and training as part of their invoice price, and those fees are generally included in their quotes of invoice price... 3) maco and training fees vary between dealer, even within the same metro area (this seems especially strange to me)... i see a lot of posts that quote deals in relation to invoice...it would be helpful if folks included whether they were talking about edmunds invoice or dealer invoice...if the latter, quoting exactly what that invoice price was would be great (this would tell us exactly how much maco and training cost at that particular dealer, and help ensure we're able to make true apples to apples comparisons)...

www.cars.com does include the $200 training fee on their invoice quote pricing.
MACO varies by market and a large metro area may have different amounts associated with MACO. www.edmunds.com does not include MACO or training fees.
