Given the fact the M3 is already on the USA website I will be shocked if it is not for sale this Fall. I don't think it is a full year away (like some mags are still saying).

Heres to hoping!

I am thinking the same thing. It is too early to get that info up and make us wait 12 full months. Attention and interest will wane. Any idea when the E46 M3 aor E60 M5 hit the US website? I guess M5 may not be a good example as it had significant launch delays.

I posted something here I read some time ago (MT, C&D or R&T) about a high level BMW USA exec and his desire to move toward simultaneous (or closer to simultaneous) EU and NA vehicle launches. We are their largest market!

Only just though. If you add UK and German markets together then that would represent a larger marketplace than the US.

I looked into this a few years ago, so don't ask me to produce the stats now, but especially if you look at it from an M-car perspective the US was most definitely the smaller market when compared with Europe.

Anyway I wasn't suggesting that the US should wait any longer than Europe, although even in the UK we tend to recieve allocation later than Germany and its neighbouring countries.

Isn't the '08 5 series up there, and hasn't it been up for a couple of months now?

now that it's on the US web site, there is no way it will be released as late as next year
