BMC Filter w/ RPI Air Scoop? Yes or NO?

So i'm bringing back to the controversial topic of the RPI scoop + Filter. Would this actually complement each other? I was thinking about getting the BMC filter to swap out the OEM, then add a AirScoop to see if it will complement the Filter and aid in a little performance.
I know many have some experience. If you run this setup, do you think it was worthy?

I've heard that the gains are due to the filter and the scoop does nothing. But there are others who swear by gains with the scoop and even supply dyno results to prove it. I don't know what to tell you.

Macht Schnell makes a whole kit -- scoops, special filter and charge pipe. It is said to make solid gains. If you do anything other than just a filter I would suggest a tune. In fact, a tune alone will give you more gains than any intake mods.

Good luck.

tune as to ECU tune?

I'm actually not into going crazy for HP gains. What I want more is little minor changes that I can get more aggressive tone to the engine area when revving. not exactly sold on Macht Schnell kits yet. but i will keep an eye out for that option. thanks for the answer

The scoops cant hurt. I have the Dinan intake and filter and it def made the car breath and sound better. I am keeping my ears open for hopefully a full KN filter set-up in the future.
