For those of you that went with a catless X pipe, how long before you got a CEL?

Could be anwhere from 5 miles to never.
It will require atleast two cold starts, it's not really based on mileage but driving style for the routines to complete. If you do steady/highway driving you will trigger it MUCH faster. If you do mostly city and hit higher RPM's more frequently, it will take longer to trigger the fault.

ESS TUNE!!! However I put about 1200 miles when I first got the tune and went fully catless. I had a check engine light pop up. Brought it to my dealership and they just replaced the sensor's and have been runing strong again for about 3 thousand miles

Leaving rpms alone and speed limiter alone as well. Getting rid of the cold start mess so it won't run like crap when it's cold. They are out of the Simon handheld tool but they offered to flash the car and give me the tool when it comes in. These guys are great that's why I always keep coming back. Customer service is great. I've been a customer here for years and years since the old E36 M3 days.

The tune will keep the light off, but you will fail inspection in any state that has OBD2 plug in because the tune is simply shutting off the two readiness monitors for the rear 02 sensors and most states allow just one readiness monitor failure. Hopefully the tune will also add some power. That is the main reason I am interested in a tune.

No inspection where I'm at in Miami so that's a good thing. As far as hp they claim somewhere around 30 hp with filter, no cats, exhaust and pulley.

Is that 30 RWHP, or just hp? And is that 30 from adding in the not cats, filter, etc, or is that just the tune when you have those mods? I have their HFC, catback, pulley, and the filter is on the way. Also have the tune too, which is why I am curious.
