Temporary front end protection.
Hi:
After I take delivery of my car in LA, I am going to drive it to Seattle. What options do I have for temporary front end protection from rock chips? Tomasz

Your best bet is either have someone in LA install a clear bra before you drive home. If this is not an option Painters tape works well. |

I will most likely do painters tape. Car is leased and I am not installing a clear bra. I am OK with getting some chips from daily driving, just do not want that to get lots of them in the first week.
Car is blue, so 3M painters tape will actually blend in OK.

3m painters tape as a first layer... Duct tape as a layer on top of the painters tape for EXTRA protection. Painters tape isn't very thick and can rip pretty easily if a tiny rock hits it.
