Mechanical sound from steering wheel area?
Hi,
I just had the 29k service done and since then i am hearing a mechanical pumping sound form the left side of the steering wheel. Since i had the car, I used to have that sound when i start the car and i was told that its the DCT hydrolic pump to re-pressurize the hydrolics of the paddle shifters. that sounded reasonable so i was perfectly fine with it until now. Since the 29k i realized that the mechanical sound keeps coming on at slow speeds, sometimes right after moving from red lights. I am wondering if there is a problem with the system, maybe a pressure leak. or is it supposed to run all the time but i just started realizing it now? In the service they didnt do anything to transmission. they did change the differential oil but i think they can not be related. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

A mile after leaving work the check engine light came on showing reduced power. redline rpm limit drops to 4500 rpm. the car got stuck at 1200 rpm on 7th gear, had to pull over. after trying to turn on off several times the car works properly now. will take the car to the dealer tomorrow.
