I didn't see a camera filming that angle at the exact time of the accident. From what I saw it looked like the Merc that did a 180 in the video's fault, but it just as well could have been one of the other 4 drivers that were in front. I just know it wasn't the Porsche. Many people were saying it was his fault.

I believe the Mercedes hit the wall first on one angle, agree that the Porsche didn't cause it!

From one shot looks like the Porsche is at the front so people are seeing that view!

This looks a lot like big wrecks at Martinsville.

What an amazing but sad wreck! Always sad to see such beautiful machines being thrashed.

Hope everyone is okay....
I guess that's what happens, when cars race on bike tracks.

Macau is too narrow (hill section especially) for modern GT races, and also Motorcycle.
A motorbike racer was killed in a practice session or something during the race weekend.

I think in modern standards, Macau is only suitable for Touring cars, even F3 was marginal.

A friend of mine was in Macau attending the event. He told me the Motorbike racer was killed on the first lap of the course, and that race was halted and later cancelled due to the fatality. I saw the video footage, it was pretty horrific. A terrible tragedy.

I've been to the Macau track before. That track use to be a world class track when cars were half the width of current cars.

GT cars has no business being on that track

Thats an awesome post. That pass on the GTR at the 5:10 marker. Then by the end of the 6th minute the first place e30 m3 put some distance on the rest of the pack. WOW.

How stupid!

That's what you get when you have only one lane to race in. Same with F1, what's the point if you can't pass. It might as well be NASCAR.
