Not quite. I am familiar with the Bav tech cable. If you have a faulty part, you will need to replace it, because even when codes are cleared the sensors will just run a new scan and trigger the alert. It is a great product for the cost but not as good as bav tech, etc... It is great for coding and simply telling you which part to change.

If you look at their website under coding you can see what is possible. So far I've coded to roll up my windows with the key, unlock doors when engine is turned off and change the blinker from 3 to 5. Haven't played with it too much yet.

Anyone know if this will work on the newer iDrive units in the F30?

I just got my adapter Monday, and bought the app which I downloaded to my iPhone 5s and iPad mini. Adapter and app work great on both devices, had no issues coding or reading codes. My car only had shadow codes, and I cleared them successfully.
Anyone know if we can turn off the amber LED's in the top corner of the headlights that come on when the headlights are on? I bought this adapter: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

I got this one and use it for Torque, it's much smaller than the gigantic units being linked up there : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Works perfectly. FYI, to clear up some confusion in this thread. These units function over bluetooth which is a platform-independent specification for wireless devices. It does not have ties to iPhone or Android. If someone is selling you one of these as specifically 'for Android' or 'for iPhone' then I'd steer clear. Bluetooth devices should work for all handsets that support that revision (or newer) of Bluetooth. I also feel bad for anyone having to use an iPhone to diagnose a car or for gauge displays on that tiny ass screen lol.

But for sure the bluetooth one won't work with iPhone though. It has to be over wifi for iOS. Yup - they're my videos and that's me being a tool in them Thanks!!

You are talking the little orange LED in the corner of the headlight, correct? IF so I'd like to know as well, hate that light!
