I am looking at immediate gratification for an IB coupe with DCT or order one with 6MT and wait. Tuff decision. Any thoughts?

thanks for all the compliments guys. however, need your advice or opinions.

i want to do the DPE SP SC-10s. i can't decide a finish. i have all black accessories and no chrome anymore. would it look out of place to do a chrome/polished lip and brushed center? my buddies are telling me not to since i dechromed the car. here are the finishes i'm thinking. up for opinions or something else:

1. chrome lip/brushed center
2. gloss black lip/matte black center
3. gloss black lip/brushed center (afraid it might look too "ghetto" though)
4. gloss gunmetal lip/matte brushed gunmetal center
5. any other thoughts?

I love it. I'd say keep those wheels, first picture seals it for me.

I think the gloss and matte would look sick. I love gloss wheels on blue M3s. I think its member Marks M3 who has the MCB M and it looks so sick with black ZCPs. If I had a blue M id be following that same mod list ha.

i concur with Mark's M3. the black ZCPs do look killer. however, he has a lighter shade of blue which sets it off. i'm concerned that IB is a little too dark to pull off the all black wheel. i have been agonizing over this decision since last summer. i'd hate to pull the trigger on these wheels for that $$$ and finish and be disappointed.

I hear you on that. Picking a wheel is a big decision especially when they're an expensive set.

As far as the DCT and 6MT...I've driven both. I like them both. However, I bought my coupe preowned and it had 6MT. I like it because you actually get the feeling of a "race" car with the shifting. If it had DCT, I would've bought it anyway. Hard to be picky when you're looking for a rare color that is preowned.

As far as what I fly, I'm a Navy pilot. I flew MH-60S (helos) my first tour in Virginia and just finished my instructor tour down in Texas flying the T-34. I'm not flying currently, but should be back in the cockpit early next year.

Are you running different size tires than the OEM tires? The rear tire looks wider and with a 30 aspect ratio and not 35.

yes. 245/35 front and 285/30 rear. i need spacers though front and rear.
