Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta - Where in San Diego area???

I can't find these tires anywhere. I've called many shops in my area and not a single person has even heard of them, and this includes the shops listed on Vredesteins website as dealers!

I wanted to try something different (and cheaper) but I'm about to repeat the Michelin PS if I can't find a set of these soon.

Thanks for any help!

The fact you can't find them is a good indicator...

No need silly rabbit. It's not going to outperform the Michelin Pilot Super Sport (or PS2). It's pointless to have a performance car and not outfit it with tires which are best suited to deliver the intended performance. Especially the M3 as it fights for traction, especially lateral under acceleration. I trust my PS2s (on both my cars) and look forward to the new Super Sports. If your motivation is to save money, you bought the wrong car.

Like i said, go read about them.

People compare them to ps2's.

Funny you talk about outfitting you're car with the best tire money can buy since the m3 is so special, but you only had 5900 miles on your 03?

Guess she wasn't so special.

Don't try to be intelligent. That's at the point I bought it. Any more brilliance?

yeah, let's get back to tires.... i guess i will have to get the PS2s since i'm running out of patience trying to find the Vredestein's.

MVF4Rider: although i think you underestimate the potential quality from a less well known tire manufacturer, i will say....nice bike! i've got a 08 1098S

they are supposed to be very nice-and very cheap tires...The only place you can find them is online.

If you do buy them, let me know...

Performance Plus in Long Beach. Also ACG San Diego on Ronson, but I'm pretty sure they don't stock.

I've had that brand tire in my lifetime. It's one thing to make a tire preform well when near new. How it performs over the life of the tire can be quite different. The Michelins are proven. The new tire should last longer and perform better. Why look elsewhere?

^Correcto. I got my first set at PP. They damaged my brake rotors and brand new RAC wheels. I sued them in small claims court and won. They are total hacks. Do not have installs done there.

I just ordered my 2nd set from ACG. Had 2 I needed in stock 2 not.

I am very impressed with these tires as are many other owners/reviewers here on the forum. They are an immensely better option than the PS2 or PSS if you consider price to performance ratio. Sure a bit less ultimate grip but nothing you should be getting too close to on the street. With the price I think they are unbeatable. The wear has also been just about the same as the stock PS2s.

Note: I've also had a pretty well worn set on the track as well. They certainly are not track tires but took the abuse and performed very well.

the Vredesteins are great value for the price range that they are in. they are very famous for their winter tires and the summer performance; Ultrac Sessanta is great for daily driving too. I'd give them better ratings than Nitto Invo, in my opinion.

for anyone that needs them, let me know. We carry Vredesteins.

I spoke with Peter at ACG but he can only get front or rears (can't remember which) but not all 4. So I'm sick of trying to source these tires, now looking at Advan 08 or maybe just staying with PS2.

Wow. that's new. Peter and James used to get any sizes.
Swamp2 is good local member who religiously love them. So pm him to ask more detail.

Or try Conti DW. Looks like they have amazing reviews and Tirerack sells them. You can get it next day as they ship from vegas.

And show off your ride at the big euro meet at lolita's on first wed of the May.

Again they had either front's or rears in stock when I just ordered and the other 2 they did not have will be delivered to them in about 1 week (closer to 2 weeks from when I ordered). It is strange they are giving you a different story.
