Aha! Found something that should be useful. Two pics:
1) Full image showing me just after one of the Corkscrew apexes, full load on the driver's side: 2) Zoomed in on the same shot. You can see the suspension is compressed pretty significantly. I don't see any bulging... also worth noting is the space between the fender. Towards the end of the season I started contemplating spacers. There's plenty of room with the stock setup before needing to roll fenders (which I have not done).

I've seen 285/35/19 on the stock M3 wheels and it looked beefy but definitely did not bulge.
Great pic dnvrdrvr!

or try nitto nt05, they come in 275/35/19 and have very similar performance to re11s.

Alright after consideration, I'll be going for a set of RE-11's 255/35 front and 285/35 rear on the stock rims thanks everyone for the input, especially dnvrdrvr for the great pics

Not sure what your question is... are you asking about putting 245's up front and 285's in the rear? Or mixing tires (PS2's up front, RE-11s in back)? You can do the first, don't think I would be alone in recommending against the second.

I just installed 285/35/19's on the stock rears. Looks fantastic. Obviously not everyone is a fan of a thicker sidewall. If you are, this setup is right up your alley. As of right now I have Continental CS3's up front (245/35/19's). I cant definitely feel the car "shift" slightly from time to time due to difference in tread and wear. It's nothing major, but I decided to go with the same PS2 tire up front in a 255/40/19. I'm looking forward to the same sidewall thickness up front, increased grip, and uniform wear/tread. Will chime in once the fronts are installed next week.
