Who does the best tint in OC?

Hey guys, just got an e92 m3...used to have an e92 335, and the dot matrix on the back window really was a sore eye, and I don't want the same problem with the m3...

so who does the best job of concealing it in the Orange County area?

thanks in advance!

What about Premier protective, they're in the O.C. and aren't they the best in the business.

just read their review, seems like a reputable shop but $500 for tint seems very steep

I've also used Sal over the years and have been happy with his work. Some bubbles here and there, but nothing major. He's always taken care of it for me. If I remember correctly it was in the high 400s with Sal. I've recently switched to Premier for window tint because of the new tint they have. Between the two, I would say that Premier's tint keeps my car cooler.

I went to the laguna hills one. Very good service and they didn't have a problem with the dot matrix. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

i dont think they're the "best in OC", but DP tint off edinger does a pretty damn good job. they are down the street from crevier and even work on crevier cars. they do bentleys, ferraris, porsches, and all kinds and know what they're doing. they dont just slap on the tint and call it a day. if you're not impressed, they'll take it off and start over.

yea i'm mostly concerned about the dot matrix, cause if they don't know what they're doing, it gets pretty ugly :/

What type of tint do you recommend from tint plus? Looks like they have a lot of options.

I haven't seen anyone do the dot matrix perfectly. Most have some areas where the tint doesn't stick well.

Got mine done at Tint Plus.

The best one there will be Formula One Pinnacle series (ceramic tint), will cost you about under 500 (excluding windshield).

sorry for my ignorance, but where would this "dot matrix" be located? I have tint on all of my cars including the M3, but have not noticed any problems.

it's at the top of the back window, and a very thin border around the rear windows (e92).

I'd say you're looking for $500+ just for tint

i've never tinted any of my cars before but is it true that they need to take off the door panels to tint?
i'd like to tint but want to keep the panels as untouched as possible

I had their new tint done and I actually like the looks of it very much. I do feel the difference when the sun hits my face and if my R8 is parked outdoors for an extended time. I also had the windshield done too. Very happy with it
