DTC Code 2778 DMTL heater?? Whats this fault?

I got after a upgrade to 240E software an Emission Warning in the dash.
Checked the fault code and it shows Code 2778 DMTL Heating.

Whats this???
Anyone?

Btw car runs just fine!

Likely you may have been flashed with a US Spec 240E file rather than a Euro Spec file.

Deleting the dmtl faults from a US spec file (probably what Sal did) will do the trick. Glad you got it resolved.

No we actually took a Euro version 240E and installed that instead :-)

HI!

I have got the same code coming up in my m3 e90. it is stock car, us spec. Can you tell me what shall i do to get rid of it?

Detection Module Tank Leak....
