Anyone in Parsippany?

Will be spending 2 months over the summer. Would love to meet some fellow M owners and get tips on car washes, parking, restaurants, etc.

Thanks.

Morristown BMW is close to Parsippany and is a sponsor of the BMW CCA of NJ.

I have a warehouse in Parsippany. If anyone wants to meet in the parking lot without getting bothered let me know. I also live just 5-10 minutes away.

On a different note, I will be staying at some extended stay corporate suites during my stay and for the first time will have to park my car in the outside lot. Should I have any concerns about safety?

Overall safe area. Just be smart about parking. Park end spot if possible, away from any mommy vans. Whatever you do, don't take up two three spots. You probably already knew that!

Rather safe just use common sense ... as for dealers ... I do not like Morristown as they would not even let me test drive an pre-owned M3 when I was in the market. I have been going to the Paul Miller family of dealerships for years and now go to their BMW one. It is further but I like it better.

Appreciate the advice on the dealership. I like the idea of a family owned dealership.

AnyOne like BMW of Freehold? I have been talking with Danny about an 09 AW coupe fully loaded CF roof with 46,000 miles and it is CPO. They want 47k for it. Good deal? Good dealer?

Hmmm, the price does seem a bit high for the miles. 09 and CPO are pluses but I suspect that you can do a bit better.

yeah, i need to work them a litte. What would be a fair price 44K-45K? Also, does the M3's engine start loosing its umphh after a certain amount of miles?

I say quote about 43k and see what they say. Worst thing they can say is no. Don't worry about the mileage as in relative terms, 45K is not that high at all and this engine is amongst the most reliable in BMW's line up. I have 35K miles on my car and it still runs like a top. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks for the info, definitely appreciated. So my they are saying that they wot move a dollar lower than 47k as they are putting money into certifying it an it's getting two new rear tires and gettin detailed etc. they are alao buying my 2011 G37 coupe from me. I feel cornered! But the car is beautiful AW w all options incl DCt CF roof & enhanced sound.. What do you think now?
