even if you upgrade the charge pipe it will still bottle neck going into the intake manifold..

Filter or intake installed and taking into service

I swapped out the filter and added air scoops before my first service. Macht Schnell drop in filter and air scoops.

First off the 1200 mile service does not include replacement of air filter so they wouldn't be looking there anyways.

Secondly, I told the tech I added a drop in filter, because he was my friend's cousin.

Lastly, even if someone else didn't know the tech, and is worried about future service to their car while having a drop in filter or intake...they don't care. I've had full intake systems on just about every other car I've owned, and never once have had an issue with the dealership.

I had the Technocraft charge pipe and although I didn't have any complaints except for the fact about the electrical tape that you need to use to seal the connection.

So for peace of mind, I bought the Dinan full intake system. It is probably one of the most expensive options, but the design, fit and finish are ahead by a good degree which justifies the price for me.

Dyno or no dyno, it definitely makes a big difference in the performance of the car. My car feels like it builds RPMS a lot quicker especially in the low range. It suits the full Techocraft Envy intake system (minus the charge pipe duh) quite well I might add.
